The Jahn Rink
The Jahn Rink, with its iconic glass entryway, is a 200 x 85-foot hockey arena. It has plenty of room for Pomfret students to get rowdy while supporting the Griffins four hockey teams. In addition to housing the Pomfret boys’ and girls’ hockey programs, various others schools and outside vendors host local events in the Jahn.

Robinson House
Located on the front face of Pomfret’s campus is The Robinson Admissions house. Here is where the admission staff works day after day to admit, interview, and process new students and applications. A student organization called the “Key Club,” consisting of select students, work to take parents and students who are looking to apply to Pomfret on a tour around our campus. During these tours, key club members provide families with the students perspective of Pomfret, telling them what to expect when coming into Pomfret and the in’s and out’s of our facilities on campus.
Health and Wellness Center
Built in 2018, the Health Center is the newest building on campus. The Health Center houses Pomfret’s nursing and counseling facilities. Students and faculty that ever feel sick or need to see a medical professional for any reason can quickly walk over to this brand new facility. The Health Center is equipped to handle a wide variety of cases and students can schedule both therapy and medical appointments with the staff there.

Quad
The quad is the central green space on campus, located between the Bricks and the OSU where students can enjoy a sunny day and have fun with their friends playing volleyball on the outdoor volleyball court. The Quad is home to activities including the school Carnival, Spring Showcase, in addition to Frisbee and Spikeball tournaments.
Greenhouse
The greenhouse is a space on campus developed by students for the benefit of students. The Helios Project started in 2016, serves to encourage the next generation to become environmentally educated and socially aware scientists. Under the Helios Project, students developed the inner systems and constructed this building and its components within, with the goal of inspiring students to research and expand their knowledge of solar aquaponics. In addition to promoting student-led research, the greenhouse provides fresh vegetables as well as other produce to local food pantries.

Lasell Alumni House
The Lasell Alumni House is home to all Pomfret Alumni communication. After a student graduates from Pomfret School, they are forever attached to Pomfret through the schools vast network of alumni and the commitment of the school to maintain a relationship with the former students.
Orchard
Orchard is a Junior girls dorm nestled against the woods and the 3rds soccer field.
Olive
Olive is a sophomore boys dorm that houses several faculty and their families. This dorm was recently renovated (2018).

Freshman Circle
Located across the street from the front circle is freshman circle, this is an area on campus strictly for freshmen. This side of the campus claims all of the freshman dorms, both girls and boys. Freshmen boys reside in Clement and Hale while the Freshmen girls reside in Kniffin. Freshmen Circle is designed to encourage the growth of the freshmen at Pomfret school while allowing them to learn from their upperclassmen prefects and student leaders.

Turf / Athletic Fields
There many athletic fields on campus. Students can choose which afternoon sport they would like to be a part of. Pomfret offers sports every season as students are required to take part in at least three sports per year. Student can also elect to participate in non physical afternoon activities such as the play, the dance company, or community service.

OSU
The Olmstead Student Union located in the main athletic facility building contains a student center as well as a cafe and school store. Situated on the second floor of the OSU, the Tuck Shop, run by Mr. Matthew Rodman prepares a variety of treats for students looking for something not offered by the Dining Hall, including some of the best muffins found in all of CT. The School Store, located on the first floor of the OSU, houses all students essentials, from school supplies to snacks and toiletries.
The Parson's Lodge
The Parsons lodge, better known as the lodge, is located adjacent to the athletic center. The lodge is a cozy and quaint place on campus where students can host events by the fire. The lodge is used for community and outside social events as well as in school activities.
Gymnasium
The Lewis Gymnasium, located on the main level of the Corzine Athletic Center, is the home of Pomfret’s basketball and volleyball teams. In the spring, the baseball and softball teams use the space to house batting cages and indoor practices. On a Friday or Saturday night game, one can hear the roars of the crowd echo through the building and the rest of campus.?
Olmstead Observatory
The Olmstead Observatory is positioned near Orchard and Olive Dormitories. The observatory provides students an opportunity to explore the stars and develop a deep love for astronomy. The observatory telescope allows students to capture images of galaxies, nebulas, and stars throughout the universe. There are several courses available for students wanting to learn more about the universe.
The Field House / Tennis Center
Field House includes four indoor tennis courts and is utilized also for fun events like form Olympics also is used by a number of athletes during the cold winter months. Also in the spring, the JV tennis team hold their practices on this building.
Dining Hall
The dining hall is a central location on campus and attracts every student with its delicious food, provided by FLIK. The Pomfret dining hall inspires students to maintain healthy eating habits while also catering to students occasional sweet tooth and homestyle cravings. The dining hall is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Pomfret ensures that there is something for even the pickiest eater, offering a variety of options including a salad bar, sandwich bar, brick oven pizza, stir fry stations, omelet bar, and organic desserts.
Library
The Henry B. du Pont library is the central learning hub of Pomfret’s campus and is a great resource for students and faculty. The library buildings house the Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) and the Mac Lab, both spaces that push the thinking of Pomfret students through the use of professional tutors and technology. The library consists of over twenty thousand volumes and allows students access to world-renowned books and quiet study space to produce their best work.
Dance Studio
The Schoppe Dance studio, is a place on campus where students can express their love for various forms of dance and produce authentic, creative performances for their peers. There are several dances related courses offered at Pomfret, ranging in skill level, as well as varying disciplines.
School House
The School House is where all language and history are situated. This building is also home to Hard Auditorium and private instrument rooms. College counseling and deans offices are located on the main floor. It is the tallest building on campus and house 4 floors of classrooms.
Chapel
The Clark Chapel is the heart and soul of Pomfret’s campus. As one of the oldest buildings within Pomfret School and the town surrounding, Students and Faculty gather as a community twice a week (Monday and Friday) within these hallowed walls, to hear speeches given by senior students as well as various members of Pomfret’s community. The school also gathers in this space for special events such as Sundial Ceremonies as well as Lessons and Carols. Additionally, the Clark Chapel hosts many weddings and community events.
Centennial
Centennial is the home of all Math and English courses. As the newest academic building on campus, Centennial exhibits Pomfret’s newest learning tools including whiteboard tables, AirPlay, and projectors.
Dunworth and Pontefract
The boys and girls bricks is the main living space for upper-class students at Pomfret. The bricks are divided by three floors with two separate hallways on each floor, for a total of six smaller dorms. Students are typically situated in single or double rooms based off of their personal needs and preferences.
